Geeks Global respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, visitors, and third parties interacting with our website (geeks-global.com) to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we have established the following policy for addressing claims of copyright infringement.

1. Notification of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that any content appearing on our website infringes your copyright or the copyright of a party on whose behalf you are authorized to act, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works at a single site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., a specific URL).
  4. Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

We will restore the removed material within 10–14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification, unless our designated agent receives notice that the copyright owner has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Geeks Global has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

4. Disclaimer & Limitations

Submitting a DMCA notice with materially false or misleading information may expose you to civil liability and attorney’s fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are uncertain whether material on our site infringes your copyright, we recommend consulting a qualified attorney before submitting a notice.

This policy is provided for informational and compliance purposes. Nothing herein constitutes legal advice, and Geeks Global makes no representations regarding the completeness or accuracy of any third-party legal interpretations.
